If you are like me, I don't like getting junk mail whether it's through snail mail or email. Over the weekend I ran across the Small Business Knowledge Center (SBKC) where you can earn rewards for your junk mail and email. It's a pretty simple process to sign up as a Consumer Panelist too.
The way it works is pretty straight forward. Once you've been accepted into the panel you'll receive pre-addressed, pre-paid postage envelopes that you will fill with the junk mail that you receive. SBKC will outline for you the type of mail that you should forward either via email or the envelopes provided. As a a business owner or self-employed individual you'll get your points more quickly.
According to the website, THE SMALL BUSINESS KNOWLEDGE CENTER ENSURES THE PRIVACY OF OUR PANELISTS. YOU WILL NOT BE SOLICITED IN ANY WAY AS A RESULT OF YOUR PARTICIPATION. ALL MATERIALS ARE SHREDDED AND 100% RECYCLED. All your information is eliminated before any materials are analyzed which includes your name, address, account number even phone number. The goal of the panel is to assist how marketing is done in the financial services and insurance industries.
Once you've earned 2000 points, you'll be able to redeem them for gift cards. There are over 200 retailers to choose from especially restaurants, department stores, hotels, etc. Point balances are reported every month around the 15th with instructions to redeem your points if you want or need them.
