Random
acts of Holidays can be experienced around the Loop through December 22nd
at this year’s Winter WonderLoop which
includes strolling carolers and bands from local colleges and high schools;
street performances from Goodman Theatre and Joffrey Ballet; seasonal displays,
decorations, and the 10 Wonders of the Loop; “Herman the German,” Berghoff
Restaurant’s mascot, giving away custom steins, ornaments and treats; giveaways
of hot beverages, pastries and prizes from Corner Bakery; and Experience
Lightscape, introduced last year – this one-of-a-kind light and sound
installation creates vibrant patterns of color choreographed to music in 18
sidewalk planters on State Street. Plus
many special offers can be located on their website, so be sure to check back
often!
