TECHNOLOGY TIPS – SHARE YOUR PRIVATE INFO JUST LIKE MISSION IMPOSSIBLE
Every once in a while I find a site that's just fun and
exciting all at the same time. So let's
say you have someone say, "Just email/text me the
login/password and I'll delete the information once I'm done." While that is a great idea, data deleted from
your device is not necessarily all removed because part of the remnants are
stored in locations that most people don't dare to venture into.
So here's the latest in Mission Impossible options - OneShares. You simply go to the site and click a button
called Create One Now. You can paste
something private. It then gets
encrypted and given a unique URL that you can share.
Now for the good news...
The URL can only be used once. If
you click on it a second time, you'll be brought to a page that says, "Sorry
:( That URL has already been retrieved
and it's no longer available." I've
tried it out a couple times and it's worth the bookmark if you have to share
sensitive information on fairly frequent basis.
