THIS WEEKEND IN CHICAGO - CAPTURE THE HOLIDAY MAGIC!

Okay,
listen up everybody. This is your last
chance to
"Capture the Holiday Magic"
here in Chicago before Santa arrives next weekend with all your gifts, so let's
get out there and get into the spirit of the Holidays with these great events--
Holiday Windows at Macy's (111 N. State Street) in the Loop. The making
of an ornament is this year's theme displayed along State Street now in its 44th
year. While you're there stop inside to
see Macy's Great Tree that stands 45 feet tall and features over 2,000
ornaments!
"Christmas
Around The World" and "Holidays of Light" at the Museum of Science and Industry (5700 S. Lake Shore Drive)
in the Hyde Park neighborhood. Representing diverse holiday celebrations
around the globe, two annual displays feature over 50 decorated trees, which
surround the centerpiece tree - a 45-foot tree with more than 1,000 ornaments
and 30,000 lights. Rounding out the
holiday festivities are music and dance performances with falling "snow!" It may be the only snow you'll see for
Christmas!
Christmas
