Bleeding Heart Bakery (BHB) collected donations for this past week's storm victims in the Midwest.  Coming in July is their Cupcake Eating Challenge.  You're encouraged to stuff your face at the new Lakeview store's grand opening at 2961 N. Lincoln Avenue. It's $25 to register and there will be many prizes from BHB and their sponsors -- Alterra Coffee and Organic Valley.

GOLD COAST

Welcome back to an entirely refreshed NoMI, opening Friday, officially launching rooftop cocktail and caviar season. After a six-month renovation, the dining room's 100% white-tablecloth-free, the outdoor bar's much longer and the dark wine cellar next to the cheese cave.

LOOP

The Auditorium Theater was host to the Beach Boys 43 years ago for the first time.  This June 9th, they return to Chicago for a one night only performance with guest, John Stamos.  The event is presented by 94.7 WLS-FM with limited VIP package which includes prime pit seating, post-show meet & greet with The Beach Boys, specialty drinks and summer fare!

OAK PARK
