TECHNOLOGY TIPS - NEW APP FOR IPHONE HELPS YOU GET AROUND TOWN FASTER
I have to admit that I recently just purchased a Droid X so when I went looking for apps for my new phone, I found this app. At first I was disappointed because it won't work with my particular phone just yet, but the application itself is really helpful to those who have to run multiple errands on a given day and want to maximize their time in the car.
This application takes your existing mapping software on your iPhone and enhances its ability to create the shortest route to your destinations. Route4Me is able to take multiple addresses and calculate all the possible routes available to get to all your destinations. It will cluster your locations so that your trip time is cut down, saving you gas and money.
The program allows you to enter full street addresses, airport codes, names of well-known landmarks (e.g., Grand Canyon, Golden Gate Bridge, etc.) or even ZIP codes. What's better is that you have the option to edit the route you've been given using the built-in drag-and-drop Editor and your driving directions/map will be updated instantly.
