Wrigley Field is hosting the Dave Matthews Band later this summer.  Lakeview Baseball Club tickets go on sale before Saturday's ticket sales for their rooftop venue.  For $115, you get beer and wine served at two bars and a full buffet.  The concert is September 17 and 18.

Richard Ruben, chef and author of "The Farmer's Market Cookbook" says he stops by the local farmers' market to get a feel for the local cuisine from any destination he visits.  Along with Nina Planck, author of "Real Food: What to Eat and Why" says to shop the local farmers' market as though going on a picnic.  Both these authors are on a panel that ranked Lincoln Park's Green City Market as the number three farmers' market in the United States.

OAK PARK

With the passage of a new energy bill for wind farm property tax relief, it's expected that Illinois' green economy will grow and promote investment in renewable energy.  According to Senate sponsor Don Harmon (D-Oak Park), "Providing property tax relief for wind farm developers means more renewable energy production and an incentive to expand wind farms, creating more investment and green jobs."  The bill will go into effect January 1, 2011.
