LINCOLN PARK

The 10th Annual Green City Market Chef's BBQ will be held in Lincoln Park on Thursday, July 15, 2010, from 6-8 pm.  Utilizing items from the market itself, 80 chefs will create culinary delights for all to enjoy and feast upon.  Tickets are available at brownpapertickets and is sure to be an amazing evening of great food, drink, music, and the beauty of Lincoln park on a summer evening in Chicago.

LOOP

Not to be left out of the festivities of Bastille Day, Chicago's French Market is celebrating this afternoon from 1pm to 6pm.  You can enjoy French Cabaret singer Greta Pope, French wine and cheese from Pastoral, or even a grab-and-go box of chocolate made by the famed Michael Canady!  Don't miss this amazing culinary experience of all things French.

GOLD COAST

It's Bastille Day and local Deca Restaurant and Bar is celebrating in high French fashion.  Order a cocktail and get a complimentary side of fries.  Choose between regular fries with lemon salt, oregano and grated parmesan cheese, or truffle/duck fries with smoked sea salt.

OAK PARK

Tonight join the festivities at local restaurant Briejo where you can enjoy a Prixe Fixe menu of French delights in honor of Bastille Day.  Located at 211 Harrison Street, this local venue offers an inviting locale which was ranked #3 on the Sun-Times list of "Things we love about Oak Park" and recently won a Nick's Parent's Pick as best date restaurant in Chicago.  So get your beret and head out for a fabulous, affordable meal.
