It's the last weekend in June, which here in Chicago means it's all about food, friends, food, fun, food, hot weather, food and crawls that add up to having a "Chicago" good ‘ole time!

Here's your weekend agenda -

In its 30th year, the Taste of Chicago once again takes center stage at 100 E. Congress Parkway from June 25th through July 4th.  This popular event features over 50 local restaurants offering up their signature dishes as well as live music on two stages.  Some new tastes to try this year are Timothy O'Toole's, Carbon, Iyanze and Shokolad along with returning favorites BJ's Market and Eli's Cheesecake.  Strips of 12 food and drink tickets will cost you $8.

Held in conjunction with the Taste of Chicago, now in its 18th year, is the Race to Taste which is a 5K run or a 2-mile walk through Grant Park along the lakefront this Sunday at 8:00 a.m.  Participants will receive a T-shirt and a strip of food tickets!  Note:  Registration is required.

Another popular Chicago event, now in its 8th year, is the Chicago Pride Fest held at Halsted Street and Waveland Avenue.  This GLBT community celebration features food vendors, arts and crafts, drag shows, a pet parade (Saturday) and live music on two stages.

Then on Sunday from Noon to 3:00 p.m. is the Chicago Pride Parade, now in its 41st year, expecting to attract more than 450,000 people.  This year's grand marshal will be Country singer Chely Wright.  Other related events are:  Back Lot Bash, Girl Blast and Pride Block Party.

The Lincoln Park neighborhood will be hosting their version of Chicago Summerfest this weekend over at Clark Street and Armitage Avenue.  On hand will be food vendors, live music, an art show and more.

Wrapping up this Saturday at the Daley Plaza is the 4th annual cultural fest known as Chicago Arabesque, which is set-up like a souq (bazaar) and will feature traditional Arab cuisine, clothing, crafts, spices, hookahs, music, dance and spoken word performances and much more.

The Jefferson Park neighborhood will be hosting its 10th annual neighborhood festival known as Jeff Fest at the Copernicus Center located at 5216 W. Lawrence Avenue.  Their food vendors will be serving up pizza, rib, Mexican and Polish fare along with cooking demonstrations, dance performances, live music, a classic car show on Sunday and much, much more.

And finally, we have our crawls!

Saturday from 7:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. brings the Michael Jackson Memorial Pub Crawl starting at the Blue Line Lounge and Grill in the Bucktown/Wicker Park neighborhood at 1548 N. Damen Avenue.  Ten bars will be participating to commemorate the one-year passing of the King of Pop.  Includes a raffle for White Sox and Cubs tickets.

Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. brings the CubCrawl starting at Johnny O'Hagan's in the Lakeview neighborhood at 3374 N. Clark Street.  Tour 21 bars throughout Wrigleyville for the last day of the cross-town classic between the Chicago Cubs and the Chicago White Sox at U.S. Cellular Field.

So, Eat, Drink and Be Merry (responsibly of course) This Weekend as You're Having a Good ‘Ole Time in Chicago!!
