TECHNOLOGY TIPS – DO YOU HAVE A PROFILE?
In this day and age there are a couple things you always hear. "Are you on
Facebook?" "I'm going to
Google him/her." "Are you on
Twitter?"
Imagine meeting someone new and doing a quick search on Google. You can read all the information about that person online. If they are on Facebook or Twitter, though, you really can't read a lot with all the new privacy options.
Enter Google profiles. With Google's profiles you can make sure people find the "right" information about you, create a personal page that links to your other sites and keep friends and family up to date.
While it's not necessary to sign up for a new profile, it's a great way to put out information that you want to share plus it comes up on any Google search.
