KATHY’S HOME & GARDEN TIPS – BATHROOM CLEANING
Keeping your bath clean and sparkling is easier than you think. You just need to do a few easy things every day and do a thorough cleaning once a week. If you wipe down the counters, faucet and sink every day after showering, your bath will look great between cleanings. After the shower everything is damp and steamy, keep a dry rag or paper towels under the sink and give everything a quick wipe.
When you do weekly cleaning, start from top to bottom. Dust light fixtures with micro fiber cloths. If you haven't tried these yet, do so soon, they are marvelous for cleaning and shining. They are also fantastic in the kitchen on stainless steel appliances.
Spray antibacterial cleaner all over the tub, tile walls, sink and toilet. Spread the cleaner over all surfaces with a sponge or cloth. Cleaners need time to work! Let it sit for at least five minutes. Use a scrub brush or non-abrasive pad to scrub all surfaces of the tub and tile.
Rinse all surfaces thoroughly. Use clean dry cloths to dry all surfaces. This makes every surface shine! Use color coded cloths for cleaning. This prevents the mistake of using the same cloth on the toilet and sink.
Clean the mirror and other glass surfaces with glass cleaner and dry with paper towels.
Exit out of the bathroom by rinsing, wiping and drying the floor.
