TECHNOLOGY TIPS - REMOVING TEXT MESSAGES
I get notifications on a fairly consistent basis about new apps for iPhone anb Blackberry. This one is particularly fun and actually a good idea.
Let's say you want to propose. You text your significant other's best friend to arrange a place and time to "casually meet." You really, really want to keep this secret and you're not consistent about deleting messages. By the way, you and your significant other have the exact same phone and sometimes get them mixed. You definitely want to make sure there's no trace of messages about that special surprise.
This new app, called TigerText, is the way to go. It's a way for you to cover your tracks. The texts you send will look exactly the same as others. The difference is that the content of your message is never sent to the recipient’s phone. They are able to view it but it doesn't route itself through the server giving you control of when the message is deleted and the lifespan of the message!
