THIS WEEKEND IN CHICAGO - TAKE YOUR PICK!

There's always something to do in Chicago and this weekend is no exception, so
"take your pick" from the following variety -
It's the third annual promotion for Chicago Restaurant Week at various locations throughout the city. Over 165 restaurants participate in restaurant week offering three-course menus for lunch at $22 and dinner at $32. A few of the participating spots are: Atwood Café, Brazzaz, Café Ba-Ba-Reba, David Burke's Primehouse, Frontera Grill/Topolobampo, Geja's Café, LM Le Restaurant, Mon Ami Gabi, One Sixtyblue, Park 52, Shaw's Crab House, Trattoria No. 10, Walnut Room and many, many more. Here's your chance to dine at one of Chicago's finest restaurants for a modest price! Many of these restaurants are out of my financial league, if you know what I mean. So don't pass up this great opportunity, click here for more information and a full list of restaurants.
Not ready for summer yet? Then head on over to Polar Adventure Days this Saturday at Northerly Island. Back for its fifth annual indoor-outdoor winter celebration, there is much to do and see, such as renting snowshoes for free to trek around the grounds, or watch an arctic dog sled team or arctic camping demo. And don't forget your free hot chocolate, but you must be one of the first 500 visitors! So click here for more information.
Didn't have a chance to attend Mardi Gras in New Orleans this past Tuesday? Well, Murphy's Bleachers in the Lakeview neighborhood brings Bead Quest 2010 Mardi Gras Crawl to Wrigleyville for its second annual bar crawl this Saturday. Your $20 ticket includes drink specials and a chance at raffle prizes if you collect all nine sets of beads! What are you waiting for? Click here for more information and a list of participating bars.
There's still time to celebrate the Year of the Tiger at the Argyle Street Chinese Lunar New Year Parade this Saturday at Noon in the Uptown neighborhood. The parade consists of two marching bands, a handful of floats, dancing lions (who knew?), a dancing dragon and much more. Click here for more information.
Calling everyone with two left feet! Here's your chance to redeem yourself and learn how to dance. The Winter Dance Fest will hold two hour-long lessons at 1:00 p.m. or 5:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday at the Jay Pritzker Pavilion at Millenium Park. Afterwards you can continue to practice your new steps at two hours of open dancing. Click here for more information.
And finally, if you haven't had a chance to get on over to the largest auto show in the nation, the 2010 Chicago Auto Show wraps up this Sunday at McCormick Place. Don't miss out on sitting behind the wheel of your dream car! Click here for more information.
