TECHNOLOGY TIPS - WINE COUNTRY GOES HIGH TECH
One of the challenges of going to wine country is planning the wineries to visit. It's like a puzzle that is carefully crafted and there's usually one piece that involves a little bit of wiggling. Do you copy the wineries from the movie Sideways or do you get creative?
Next year, I'm planning a visit and just wanted to share this great tool I found. It's a website called VinoVisit. The vision of the group is to provide a world-class experience for winery visitors from search to cellar.
The way it works is to enter the wine country region you're visiting, how many guests, the date and time you'll be there. You're given a list of wineries to choose, add to an itinerary and then you can schedule your time accordingly. Another great benefit are the reviews of the different wineries available on the list.
You could plan a trip to Napa and then a couple days later head to Sonoma. Either way, it sure does make your trip planning a lot easier.
