KATHY'S HOME & GARDEN TIPS - DISPOSE OF THOSE CHRISTMAS TREES

This is the time of year when going down the alleys in Chicago you will see many trees propped up against the garbage cans waiting for the garbage men to pick them up. Let's try to be all things green and
recycle! You not only prevent a tree going into a landfill but get a great bag of mulch. Pine wood and needles are the best mulch around.
You can bring your tree to locations in Chicago to be chipped and turned into mulch between January 1st and January 17th. Free mulch will be available to residents beginning January 8th.
