6:00 p.m. to 6:50 p.m.: it's Caroling at Cloud Gate with the Chicago Children's Choir at Millenium Park. Watch your candle's flicker reflection as you gather around the Bean during the holiday sing-alongs.

Saturday, December 5th, and Sunday, December 6th
Through December 24th at Navy Pier: it's Winter Wonderfest time again. View hundreds of decorated trees, do some indoor ice skating, go on rides, meet the holiday characters strolling about and much more. Click here to get all the details.
Through December 6th in the Lincoln Square neighborhood: it's the 2nd annual Lincoln Square Christkindl Market at Leland and Western Avenues. It's an outdoor celebration where the neighborhood is transformed into a small German village featuring a holiday market, live Christmas music by strolling musicians, trolley rides, a tree lighting ceremony and much more. Starting at 11:00 a.m. this Saturday only is the Do-Division Holiday Walk in the Wicker Park neighborhood along Division Street between Milwaukee Avenue and Leavitt Street. Its 10 blocks of discounted merchandise where one can also get food and drink deals at the local restaurants. Spend over $40? Don't forget to get your gift certificate! Through December 6th in the Andersonville neighborhood: it's the Swedish American Museum Center's traditional Swedish Christmas market known as the Julmarknad Holiday Festival with a Christmas café, visits with Santa and more. Click here for their full Schedule of Events.
9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.: bring the kids over to Cantigny Park in Wheaton (a suburb of Chicago) for their 8th annual Holiday LEGO Train Show exhibit located in the visitor's center. Get free parking by donating an unwrapped gift which benefits the Marine Toys for Tots program. Show your kids what the true meaning of Christmas is all about! Click here for more details.
Finally, for my adults only time, this Saturday at 7:00 p.m. at Ginger's Ale House (3801 N. Ashland Avenue) in the Lakeview neighborhood, the Project 891 Theatre Co. will be hosting their A Seuss-tastic Christmas Cabaret where local chanteuses will be singing cabaret-style carols. Raffles, photo ops with Santa, an appearance by the Grinch and drink specials will also be featured. Click here to learn more about this event.
