TECHNOLOGY TIPS - GOING BEYOND THE DIGITAL CAMERA
Hey, who doesn't like pictures or video right? There's a digital camera for all sorts of needs. In fact, I would recommend you head over to Chicago Photography Center if you ever want to take a full course on your digital camera use.
Anyway, two of the latest toys I uncovered this weekend are an underwater mini camera and small portable camera. They don't really sound all that different from what's currently out there, but let me assure you they are definitely unique in their offerings.
Imagine being on your bike and wanting to simply record your ride for the next couple of hours while trekking through a great forest preserve. Or better yet, you don't feel like lugging a camera along with you but want to capture some video of being out and about. The portable camera is just for that AND it weighs in at a whopping 80g. The mini camera is very similar, slightly less in weight, waterproof and can be attached to your swimming goggles.
Both are shaped like a small pipe and powered by a USB. Both also have a battery life of approximately two hours each. When it comes to gadgets, these little guys seem to be loads of fun.
