TRADING-IN YOUR OLD TECH GADGETS WITH COSTCO FOR CASH
Yep, you heard it right. Costco has teamed up with Gazelle to offer Costco Cash for any traded-in old gadget.
It's a pretty simple process, actually. You go into the website here, enter the make and model of your gadget and the company tells you how much cash they'll give you once they receive it by mail. Gazelle will re-sell your old equipment or recycle it depending on its age.
According to what I've read, you should expect about 2.5% more for your old gear than if you were to use the Gazelle website. The program accepts 20 categories of products including things like laptops, MP3 players, cell phones and digital cameras.
Costco made the move to Gazelle after its original recycling program partner, Greensight, went out of business.
