CHICAGO NEIGHBORHOOD NEWS - PORTAGE PARK, GOLD COAST, LOOP, LINCOLN PARK, OAK PARK

PORTAGE PARK
The old adage says, "The only thing in life that are for
sure are death and taxes." Normally we
at Dean's Team would not talk about things this depressing but the Cubs fan in
us just had to share this.
Bohemian National Cemetery,
which is on the National Historic Registry, dedicated a brick interment wall this
week designed to look like the wall in dead center at Wrigley Field. The location has 288 skyboxes with lawn grown
from Wrigley's sod.

Get your taste buds ready, there's a new Italian restaurant
and Pizzeria in town.
Rocco's Café &
Pizzeria opened this past Monday.
The cuisine is a mix of thin-crust pizza, sandwiches and house-made
Italian entrees. Of considerable note, this
location will be popular in summer with
a 150-person outdoor patio.

now be able to send out e-mails or text messages with the same information.

GOLD COAST

this great opportunity goes away.

OAK PARK
Known as the home of Frank Lloyd Wright, Oak Park does offer more in architecture than
one would think.
Oak Park
is the birth place of Ernest Hemingway, and there's a museum in his honor
too. Touring Oak Park's
architecture, though, includes the myriad churches just a few blocks away from
the National Historic Landmark
Unity Temple.
