THIS WEEKEND IN CHICAGO - WHAT’S ON YOUR MENU FOR MOTHER’S DAY?
Yes, Mother's
Day is this Sunday, May 10th.
If you haven't started planning your menu yet, here are a few ideas to
get you started.
There are,
of course, the traditional Mother's Day brunches throughout Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. However, if you're looking for something
unique, check out one of the following Mother's Day Cruises:
Spirit
of Chicago
is offering three cruises: a brunch from
10:30 a.m. to 12:30 pm. at $49.90 per person; an afternoon brunch from 2:30
p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at $59.90 per person; and a dinner from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30
p.m. at $59.90 per person.
Odyssey is also offering three
cruises: an early brunch from 10:00 a.m.
to 12:00 p.m. at $64.90 per person; an afternoon brunch from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00
p.m. for $74.90 per person; and a dinner from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. for $74.90
per person.
Mystic Blue is offering a brunch from 1:00 p.m.
to 3:00 p.m. for $54.90 per person.

Mom doesn't
have sea legs well the Morton Arboretum
will be hosting a Mother's Day Celebration with a brunch, chamber concert and
more.
Or, if Mom
hasn't had a chance to get to the spring flower shows yet at either the Garfield Park Conservatory
or the Lincoln
Park Conservatory, Mother's Day would be a great day to take
her, especially since these shows end on Sunday!
Also ending
on Sunday, but another great treat for Mom, is the Spring Carousel (A Dance)
