THIS WEEKEND IN CHICAGO - TIME TO COME OUT OF HIBERNATION!

Doesn't it just figure that when Chicago will be experiencing some gorgeous weather this weekend, the Cubs are on the road! By the way, they'll be in St. Louis. However, the Sox will be hosting Toronto this weekend for those of you who are interested.
So, you Cubbie fans that aren't taking a trip down to St. Louis may be interested in the ‘Cover Your Bases' Pub Crawl this Saturday from 1:30 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. You'll meet up at the Rebel Bar & Grill in the Wrigleyville neighborhood and visit nine other Wrigleyville bars throughout the afternoon and evening. You'll also have a chance to win Cubs tickets and other prizes. Click here for more information on a list of participating bars as well as how to bypass crawl-day registration.
If you'd like to participate in a pub crawl but don't want to be noticed, try out the Second Annual Chicago Zombie Pub Crawl this Saturday from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. You'll meet up at the U.S. Bank parking lot located at 5340 N. Clark Street in the Andersonville neighborhood at 2:00 p.m. for registration and makeup application. You'll also receive a commemorative T-shirt and drink cup. Click here for more information and a list of bar stops.
Ladies, after a day of sunning and while your significant other is participating in a pub crawl, head on over to the Women of Horror Film Festival held at the Portage Theater in the Portage Park neighborhood this Saturday from 5:00 p.m. to Midnight. This event includes a raffle, giveaways and vendors besides seven hours of movies directed, written, produced or starring women. Click here for more information and a list of films.
Another item of interest this weekend is free, however, an RSVP is required - The Audi Driving Experience held at Soldier Field (1410 S. Museum Campus Drive). Here you will learn about the new Audi Q5, among other things, and it even includes breakfast and lunch! Click here for more details.
Finally, how about shedding some of those extra winter pounds by participating in the 2009 March for Babies this Sunday at 9:00 a.m. at Grant Park or one of the suburban locations. This 5-mile walk benefits not only the March of Dimes but your waistline as well! Click here for more information as well as the suburban locations.
Whatever you decide to do this weekend, be sure to get out and inhale some of that fresh, warm air. It's been way too long of a winter here in Chicago! Wouldn't you agree?
