I love when I happen upon something in my reading or research that is so unconventional as a product and so wonderful for the consumer. No it's not the
ShamWow!
I'm talking about a service called Seat Guru. This is a service that is for those who are traveling and going to select their seat assignment. Personally, I'm an aisle girl all the way, but there are those who have limited choices and need specific requirements.
If you could find one that had a little more leg room or just a little more give in the seat size, wouldn't you choose it? That is specifically what Seat Guru does. Matthew Daimler, as a frequent flyer, launched Seat Guru to help out his fellow flyers by collecting seat charts and ranking each individual seat.
Granted Matthew cannot be on every plane with every airline but thanks to the support from real travelers, who give reviews on seat width, pitch and comfort travelers have accurate information. In conjunction with Trip Advisor, who purchased Seat Guru in 2007, both networks bring you up to date information about travel.
So I say plan that long-distance flight and consult Seat Guru for choices. You'll find you won't go wrong.
