TECHNOLOGY TIPS – MORE NEWS FROM THE TWITTER FRONT

Okay, I am definitely a
Twitter addict. I have the ability to send notes from my cell phone. I use TweetDeck and am not ashamed to say I also enjoy the new capabilities of feeding
Facebook in there too.
So imagine my surprise when I just read about this. Are you sitting down? Rumor has it, OnStar is going to offer Tweeting. Not only can you send your messages but you can also receive them.
I don't know about you but when you are stuck in traffic, which anyone who has driven in rush hour will tell you can seem like forever, you could send a message to your Twitter profile directly. No more trying to be sly and text in your message under the dashboard. It may even help prevent an accident or two. Kind of makes me think about Jott but immediate and vocal.
Another great suggestion is to find a specific type of restaurant while in an unknown area. You could Tweet what you're looking for and then hear a verbal reply. The possibilities are fairly vast and this is only a new direction that OnStar is taking. I can't wait for next year's Auto Show to see what happens next.
