TECHNOLOGY TIPS - WHAT WILL UBID?

So last week I decided enough is enough and started looking for a new computer. I was looking for something generic - nothing too fancy but with enough hard disk space and fairly large RAM size.
My first inclination was to go to eBay. They have some great deals and you can usually find a lot of what you need there. I like eBay for purchasing software and the like, but when it comes to replacing my computer I am more comfortable with sites that specialize in those products.
One good site I found was PC Connection. They have great computers and software you can purchase at a reasonable price. They also have a variety from which to choose. Then I started getting the urge to negotiate on price. PC Connection is great but sometimes I just feel like I could get a better deal.
And then I remembered, what about UBid? It's an auction site where you can get excess inventory from the world's most trusted brands. Signing up for an account is easy and you can purchase items almost right away.
Because you bid and can limit the amount you want to spend, personally, I was able to get a really nice PC and Monitor for under $400. Just remember when purchasing a new PC verify that your software is compatible with the operating system and back-up all your files so you can transfer them quickly to the new PC.
Happy bidding!
