TECHNOLOGY TIPS - MANAGING YOUR SOCIAL MEDIA
For me social media continues to be a hot topic. Just this morning, a childhood friend "friended" me on Facebook after almost 15 years. It was great to hear from this person and still know that we could connect as if it had only been a few weeks.
This got me to thinking though. What about when you simply need to keep up with your social network sites but don't have the time to login for every site you're on?
Then I just found Minggl over the weekend thanks to, ironically, social networking. Minggl offers you a couple nifty little tricks that I really like and still allows you to focus when you are working.
One of the better functions they offer is called Status Blaster. This allows you to up date your status in one place and you choose all the sites where you are listed. In addition to that, Minggl remembers your login information so you don't even have to worry about logging into the various sites.
Another really good function is the Minggl Notes. This allows you to post private notes to the select few friends all the while keeping your public profile clean and professional. Your notes can also be posted simultaneously like the Status Blaster.
There are several other functionalities that are great including a consolidated friend list, Minggl Stream, and compatibility with both Firefox and IE.
