Hey, hey, you dogs! Buddy is out slumming tonight, so he asked me, Gracie Moss, to fill in. He seems a bit tired now that the holidays are over. Perhaps too many requests to play Santa Paws!

The saga of President-Elect Barack Obama and his Blackberry Smart Phone continues!
He wants to continue using it. During the campaign, he seemed to be glued to the thing. Checking and sending emails. Surfing the web. Finding out the latest Chicago Cubs scores (naah, just dreaming here - the President-Elect is a Chicago White Sox Fan!)
An Associated Press article picked up by the Chicago Tribune today had this quote from a recent Obama interview on the Today Show on NBC -" I'm still in a scuffle around that. (Without the Blackberry) How do you stay in touch with the flow of everyday life?"
The U.S. Secret Service, and many lawyers, would be concerned if Obama continues to browse, email, and text message from his Berry. Security of the communication would be a concern. And any email or text messages he writes, sends, and receives could be subpoenaed by the courts and Congress under Public Records Laws.
Indeed, even though the governed during the Digital Age, Presidents George W. Bush or Bill Clinton did not send or receive emails or text messages while in office.
As for me, I know what Mr. Obama is going through. Both Buddy and I have brand new Paw Pilots - just got them last fall, and we can't stop using them. Although this "Bluetooth thing," we just don't understand it at all!
We still prefer "Houndstooth!"
