This weekend,
Fall festivities will keep the serious shopper and the children busy with much
fun to be had. Here are a few
choices.
State Street
Halloween Happening Parade at State and Randolph
streets.
Come on out
and bring the children. They will join in the on the fun by marching around in
their costume at The State Street Halloween Happening Parade on Saturday,
October 25. The event steps off at noon at the corner of State and Randolph
streets. After the parade, kids can enjoy trick-or-treating, a performance by
Midnight Circus and a costume contest all at Pumpkin (Daley) Plaza. (There will
be no pumpkin decorating on parade day.) Admission is free.

Annual Halloween Pumpkin Plaza at the Daley Plaza.
This
weekend, the Daley Plaza will host the Haunted Village. The plaza will
be transformed into Pumpkin Plaza with pumpkin decorating, spooky storytelling
and much more to thrill and chill. Everyday there are performances from the
high flying aerial entertainers, Midnight Circus.

Randolph Street Antique Market at
1350 Block
West Randolph
The Chicago Antique Market is celebrating its
fifth anniversary with a new name, look, hours, elements and even new vendors.
In order to appeal to the serious antique collectors, style-setters, fashion
mavens and shoppers, the market is making drastic changes.
There will be
indoor and outdoor displays featuring 150 quality antique dealers of
furnishings, household items, artifacts, vintage clothing, jewels, sterling
peices, porcelain, lighting, toys and collectibles galore, to name a few.
