TECHNOLOGY TIPS - APPLE ANNOUNCES NEW IPOD NANO
You may have seen the commercials over the weekend. Guess what?!
Apple has introduced an updated version of the iPod Nano.
The new Nano, introduced through iLounge, will now have a slimmer design, larger screen and be taller. The screen is set at 1.5-to-1 aspect ratio to help make video viewing much easier. Video is viewed in landscape mode - similar to the iPhone and iPod Touch. The screen is rich with good contrast; and can be rather small.
The new iPod nano 4G also gets an accelerometer, which
is used in the Cover Flow interface. Although Cover Flow is great, it's functionality can be a little spotty. One newer feature is the Genius feature, which
recommends music based on other's music libraries.
