Lakeview East Festival of the Arts is
located at Lakeview
East Neighborhood - on Broadway, from Belmont to Roscoe.
The
Lakeview East Chamber of Commerce is hosting the 4th Annual Lakeview East
Festival of the Arts. This festival
takes place Saturday, September 13 and Sunday, September 14.
Lakeview East is a dynamic and diversified neighborhood community rich in
culture, history and the arts. The Lakeview East Chamber of Commerce works hand
in hand with their local residents and business owners and is pleased to offer
its neighbors and the Chicago land area with one of the premier fine art and
craft outdoor festivals.
The 2008 Lakeview East Festival of the Arts showcases over 140 juried artists
and features world class original paintings, sculptures, photography, furniture,
jewelry and more. The Festival also features entertainment stages where some of
Chicago's favorite musicians will play throughout the weekend.

Wicker
Park smART show is
located at Flat Iron Arts Building 1579 N. Milwaukee Avenue.
This
year makes the twentieth year that Wicker Park is celebrating its fall art
festival. The Flat Iron Artists'
Association will present smARTshow. This
fest will now replace the Around the Coyote Fall Arts Festival, which is moving
their event to October and moving it to Chicago's West Loop.
The event will focus on the visual arts and feature over three dozen artists
working in the historic Flatiron Arts Building, which has been the center of the
fall festival for well over a decade. Another 40-50 guest artists also will be
showcased.
