Assuming you're over thirty, read Beloit WI College's annual Freshman Mindset List. It's written from the frame of reference of the college Class of 2012, most of whom were born way back in 1990. Read . . . and feel even older!

3. There has NEVER been FULL SERVICE at gas stations - and most never fix flats. But at some, you can buy a Latte!

6. The Warsaw Pact is Ancient History.
7. Clarence Thomas has ALWAYS been a U.S. Supreme Court Justice.
8. IBM has NEVER manufactured typewriters. (What are "typewriters," anyway?)
9. Jay Leno has ALWAYS hosted The Tonight Show.
10. The rock band Pearl Jam has been together their entire lives.
11. Caller ID has ALWAYS been available on all phones.
12. Lenin's name has never been part of a Russian major city.
And, finally, my favorite . . .
13. The Green Bay Packers have ALWAYS had the same quarterback (until just recently, of course).
You now feel as if you're 100 years old! Yes?
I'm still telling the kids about no FAX machines, no MTV, and only four TV channels - in Chicago!
