TECHNOLOGY TIPS - XBOX, XBOX AND A MERGER*
Yep, you heard it here, finally good news from Microsoft.
The Xbox 360 Pro is encountering some stiff competition from Sony and will be cutting its price. The original ticket for this fun, mid-price version of the game console was $349. The cost will now be cut to $299. Microsoft Corp. is trying to help sales with this dramatic cut.
The lower price should have been advertised in Sunday's circulars so hopefully you didn't throw those puppies out.
In other Microsoft news, Yahoo rejected the offer presented by Microsoft and Carl Icahn. With the discussions basically at a stalemate, time can only tell what the new Yahoo will look like after the August 1st Board Meeting at Yahoo. For complete details, click here.
