TECHNOLOGY TIPS - GET ADDICTED
There is a new way to get all the news you want from all the different popular sources - on ONE web page. It's called Addictomatic and is truly addicting.
Let's say you want to see what is going during the current presidential election. You go the main page, type in your search criteria and after a few seconds all the top stories are listed on one web page.
Not only does this create a great way to maximize your time, but it also can be saved as a favorite in your web browser. Just think, you are looking up your favorite topic and the results from the best sites, blogs, videos and even pictures on the web come up on one page. You bookmark this page and come back daily to view new information that's been posted. You can even arrange how it's viewed through your personal dashboard.
There is also a section specific to news with general topics on entertainment, shopping, sports, politics and more. This section is called Newsfix and can also be personalized. The beauty is that you can also delete any headline boxes you do not like to make it truly personal.
So enjoy your time in front of the computer if you are so inclined. I'm going to delete my Google Alerts, set up my Addictomatic pages and head out to the lake.
