Everything seems to be going up in price these days except our take home pay! What's wrong with this picture? Well, I thought for this weekend, especially with gas prices reaching $4.00 a gallon, I would choose a handful of activities that wouldn't cause us to go broke and still be able to enjoy our time with family and/or friends. So, let's start off with some "free ice cream!" Now, mind you, it's only a complimentary scoop in honor of spring but "free" nonetheless. Where to go for this deal? Bobtail Ice Cream Company. 13th Annual Chicago Mayfest between Ashland (3100 N) and Barry Avenues. This Lakeview neighborhood staple includes live music, food, beer, vendors, a Sunday pet parade, which kicks off at Noon with registration beginning at 11:00 a.m., and much more. Click here for details.
