THIS WEEKEND IN CHICAGO - MOTHER'S DAY CELEBRATIONS
We all have someone in our lives whom we know, love and call "Mom" or "Mother." Let's celebrate this Mother's Day in Chicago with a little tradition and a lot of laughter and love.
If you want to make this day special, why not take Mom out for brunch? Here are a few suggestions.
Downtown Chicago's Navy Pier Odyssey, Mystic Blue, and Spirit Ships are all offering a wonder brunch cruise this weekend. For additional information, click here.
Ann Sather is located in the Lakeview neighborhood at 909 W. Belmont Ave. You can make reservations at 773-348-2378. They are offering a four-course dinner menu, including the restaurant's signature cinnamon rolls. On the menu you will find roast turkey *** with celery dressing, broiled salmon with mustard dill sauce, beef tenderloin with grilled mushrooms, and pecan pie just to name a few.
R.J. Grunts is located in the Lincoln Park Neighborhood at 2056 N Lincoln Park West. You can make reservations at 773-929-5363. They are offering an all-you-can-eat brunch for $14.95 on Sunday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. R.J.Grungs is a fun and high-energy restaurant, which serves as a time capsule of the early '80s. The brunch consists of tasty breakfast items placed on either side of the core salad fixings. The Denver scramble is very satisfying and the super-long chicken sausage links is a peppery pick-me-up. There are mini-Belgian waffles and pecan-praline French toast on the menu too.
