WHAT TO DO THIS WEEKEND?
Well one thing is for sure, shopping is never out of season. In our great city and surrounding suburbs, shop, malls, and boutiques are abundant. This Saturday Chicago is hosting a special shopping extravaganza. Why not go to "Shop Chicago" at our Union Station-Great Hall 210 S. Canal St.
This event features more than 80 emerging accessory and clothing designers. At Shop Chicago you can shop the latest trends, enjoy complimentary cocktails and even be the recipient of a little pampering at the Shop Chicago Beauty Lounge. The lounge will provide makeup applications from the sponsor Custom Colorlabs, hair makeovers from Art & Science, and nail and spa treatments from Blo Salon.
Guests can also treat themselves to a wardrobe consultation courtesy of the expert stylists at Personal Vogue. DJ Jem, provided by The Underground, will keep you dancing in the aisles while you shop.
VIPs can enjoy champagne, Shop Chicago gift bags and a break from the busy Shop Chicago floor in the Room & Board VIP Lounge. Visitors to the VIP Lounge will also be treated to hors d'oeuvres provided by Food for Thought catering and the Berry Chill frozen yogurt bar.
