6" SNOW PREDICTED FOR 1ST DAY OF SPRING! Here in Chicago, the Winter Doesn't Want to End this Year!

PREDICTED SNOWFALL COULD BRING 2007-2008 TOTAL INTO TOP 10 SNOWIEST WINTER IN CHICAGO HISTORY!

Talk about depressing, folks!

Snow, cold, wind, grey skies - a tease of sunshine and a hint of warmth - followed by - Snow, cold, wind, grey skies.

The National Weather Service predicts another snow period between Thursday and Friday nights this week - with over six inches accumulation possible in some parts of the City of Chicago and the suburbs.  If more than 6.4" fall at O'Hare Airport, the City's Official Weather Reporting Station, it will place us firmly in the Top 10 Snowiest of Chicago Winters.

It seems like one of the worst, and one of the most depressing!  It really feels like we haven't had a warm-ish, sunny, snow-free week since late November of last year - and their are many parts of down where accumulated and piled snow has yet to melt!

Please, Lord - enough, enough already.

Ah, well - out to gas up the snow blower - AGAIN!

Check out today's Chicago Tribune for the Official Winter Storm Warning, and complete weather forecast.  In his Lil' Buddy's Blog Dated February 28th, our own Buddy Holly Moss talks about Chicago's Snowiest Winters, with links to a special website that has ranked them.
