SOMETHING FOR THE ARTISTS
So the other day I was reading through some email and came across this web site. It's called Desktopography, which is a non-profit established in 2005 for the graphic design industry.
The great thing about this site is that you can download amazing nature-themed backgrounds for your desktop. The images can be used by both Mac and PC.
There are three years worth of images. Each year more images are added as part of the exhibition (10 images in 2005, 25 images in 2006 and 40 images in 2007). You can also apply to be an invited artist. Most of the wallpapers will work on any size resolution and some come in various sizes when you download the zip package. And of course, the whole thing is free.
So take a break, view some interesting artwork and have fun.
