THIS WEEKEND IN CHICAGO FROM SUE - AND, THE WINNER IS...
AND, THE WINNER IS .... March is right around the corner and with any luck our weather will break towards more mild temps. As of this writing, that seems to be the general consensus of our weather folk, at least for this weekend, so get out and do something before the next bout of snow and artic cold hit trapping us indoors yet again. This song is getting old real fast!!
This weekend brings to town the International Kennel Club Cluster of Dog Shows to McCormick Place. This event is open to the public Friday through Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at a cost of $16 for adults, $10 for seniors and $3 for kids ages 11 and under. There will be more than 150 breeds from the U.S. and Canada battling for the "best in show" title along with performance events, canine demonstrations, educational seminars and nearly 150 dog-related vendors and more. Click here for more information and to obtain a $2 off admission coupon.

Well, I've got to wrap this up now. I have lots of primping to do before the weekend. First, I need to assist Buddy, my little white dog who thinks he's human, for the cluster of dog shows this weekend. He wants to meet some "babes" if you know what I mean. Then it's off to pick-out my gown, shoes & jewelry for the various red carpets. I must admit though, I'm in a bit of a quandary and was wondering if you could help. Should I go as Marilyn Monroe - eat your heart out Lindsey Lohan, or should I choose a more current star? Let me know as soon as you can, I don't have much time! Chow!!
