I've been trying to keep my PC running at full speed without issue. Some of the most annoying are computer freeze, program conflicts and data fragmentation.
While doing research I came across an interesting software from iolo technologies. The software is System Mechanic Professional. This software only costs $69.95. Normally, I like to find technology that is free, but the cost for this software is very reasonable when you look at what it offers.
It will repair and speed up your PC and run automatic repairs to keep your PC running at an optimal level. Using what's called PC TotalCare, the following functions are run in one pass - PC Repair Wizard, PC Accelerator Wizard, PC Cleanup Wizard, and PC Security Wizard.
The PC Repair Wizard will fix all sorts of problems including hard drive problems, registry issues, fixing/removing broken shortcuts, and proactively/automatically maintaining the PC. Imagine catching program errors before they start!
The PC Accelerator can make your system faster by up to 300%. The main element of this functionality is to eliminate bottlenecks and any data fragmentation. What this means is that your computer runs faster and with more efficiency. How cool!
The PC Cleanup Wizard does just what it sounds like. It helps to keep all that junk off your PC which keeps the amount of free disk space at a premium. My favorite element of this function is that it will wipe the Internet history. Now you just run the Wizard instead of having to remember all the different directories where this "junk" is stored.
Finally, the PC Security Wizard boasts a military-standard of secure file wiping. Like most virus softwares it will block dangerous or unwanted programs. It also helps to prevent configuration changes - keeping those pesky hackers at bay!
