THE HOLIDAY SEASON IS UPON US!
In Chicago there is no better sign than The Mag Mile presenting it's Light Festival on Michigan Avenue, between Oak Streets and Wacker drive.
For over forty years, the trees and buildings down Michigan Avenue had been lit and decorated to symbolize the kick-off to the holiday season in Chicago. Come out and be a part of it. This year the lighting procession will be broadcast nationally on ABC and is sponsored by Harris Bank beginning locally live in HD on ABC 7 Chicago at 6 p.m.
Both Saturday and Sunday promise to have fun and festivities the entire family will enjoy. Your senses will delight in the sights and sounds, aromas and flavors of the season.
My children and I are going to join in the fun on Michigan Avenue Saturday evening at 5:00PM, by joining thousands of others to become part of history and trying to break the world record for the largest holiday carol with WLS Radio.
