THIS WEEKEND IN CHICAGO - FUN & FESTIVITIES

READ ABOUT LOCAL FESTIVITIES THIS WEEKEND HERE!

Jennifer Garrity - Dean's Team Customer Service Coordinator

The Field of Screams Scavenger Hunt
The Field Museum of Natural History

What fun there is to be had this weekend on the most surreal hunt in Chicago, you'll get a whirlwind tour of this treasure chest of natural and cultural wonders, taking you from Ancient Egypt to the Pacific Islands, from the tundra to the forest, from Tibet to a lair of bats.   Search for answers to such questions as, In Ancient Egypt, find 'bowling pins' with the head of a human, a jackal, a falcon and a baboon. They're waiting for organ transplants but which organ would they reject? You'll have to get inside the brains of dead pharoahs to come up with the answer. But no previous knowledge of the museum or its contents is necessary! A sense of humor and good teamwork will be more helpful than expertise. For admission price and details click here.

Radio City Christmas Show
Rosemont Theatre 5400 North River Road, Rosemont

Radio City Christmas Spectacular is here again for another year of tradition and wonder!  Celebrate the holiday as more than 140 people take the stage, including the Rockettes, with magnificent costumes and Christmas tunes enjoyed by people of all ages!  Don't miss your chance to ring in the Christmas sprit, beginning this weekend. For more information and tickets click here.

Macy's State Street

If you missed it, last week Macy's unveiled their F.A.O. Schwarz toy display and decorated it's Holiday Tree.  This weekend come by and see it all when they put the "Nutcraker" windows in motion.   The streets and buildings are decorated and all lit up.  "It's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas."   Come and enjoy the spirit of the holiday's.

HAVE YOU GOT ANY FUN FESTIVITIES I'VE MISSED?  Send them my way.
