WHAT CAN WE EXPECT FROM THE BEARS THIS SEASON?
The Chicago Bears face another division rival in the Minnesota Vikings today. They need this win to get their record to .500. If they win, they'll position themselves to make a run for the division title. If the Bears win the division they could be a force in the playoffs.
There are so many questions with the Bears. Will Rex Grossman ever assume the starting QB job from Brian Griese? Will Cedric Benson be the catalyst for the offense and find his groove? Will the Bears sign Lance Briggs to a long-term contract? Will Brian Urlacher's contract be redone? Will the Bears use Devin Hester more on the offense side of the ball? When will the Bears get healthy on the defense?
Should the Bears answer these questions "yes!", this could be another special season for the team, even though the Dallas Cowboys look tough to beat. I think the Bears can be a team to reckon with if they beat the Vikings and continue to put the pressure on the Green Bay Packers.
For sure, the Bears can be a real contender with a victory on Sunday against the Vikings - Go Bears!
