CHICAGO'S SPECTACULAR AIR AND WATER SHOW IS THE HEADLINER EVENT THIS WEEKEND
The 49th Annual Chicago Air & Water Show is going on this weekend. Come out in the magnificent weather we've been having and enjoy a day with your family. Well over two million people flock to the shores of Lake Michigan for this event each year. It is the oldest and largest free show of its kind in the United States. You can view it along lakefront of Lake Michigan from Fullerton Avenue to Oak Street Beach. North Avenue Beach is the main focal point. Come early and reserve your spot on a blanket on the beach.
If crowds are not your thing, you can visit our ever impressive Navy Pier. Two cruise lines are hosting air show galas.
The Mystic Blue is offering a family buffet style cruise. There will be a DJ, music and dancing offered during various different cruise times throughout the day.
The Odyssey has a show all its own which features elegant entrees and desserts, a fabulous view of the Chicago skyline and the best view of the Air & Water performances. There will be music and dancing. The ship will sail at various times throughout the day as well.
