MARC'S TECHNOLOGY BLOG - SOMETHING SMELLS PHISHY!
TIPS ON USING TECHNOLOGY TO YOUR ADVANTAGE (BUT BE CAREFUL) – FROM MARC

How can you really tell if those emails you're getting from your bank are legit? Do you know if the message from Paypal or eBay is above board? How about when your credit card company wants you to verify your password?
With our inboxes being constantly bombarded with messages from everyone under the sun it is more important than ever to be able to identify the scams. This week I'm connecting you to three different "Phishing Quizzes" that will test your ability to identify the emails designed to steal you most valuable asset - your identity.
Washington Post - This is the first phishing quiz I ever took. It is a few years old but a good primer.
MailFrontier - A little bit harder.
Sonicwall - This one is actually pretty tough. I thought I was pretty savvy at sniffing out the scams but I only scored 8 out of 10 the first time around!
Good Luck!
Phishing, as you may know, is a technique that scam artists use to try to steal your identity by masquerading as a legitimate company. What phishing schemes have YOU encountered recently? Let me know!
