LIL' BUDDY'S BLOG - I'M SO GLAD TO BE LIVING IN CHICAGO!
THE CHICAGO REAL ESTATE MARKET, AND OTHER THINGS CHICAGO, FROM THE POINT OF VIEW OF A LITTLE WHITE DOG!

Woof! And I mean WOOF! My new found publicity as the Chicago's Most Famous Dog Blogger - at least the only Blogging Dog Licensed to Sell Real Estate in Illinois - has kept me very busy! I can't tell you how many emails I get each day! On July 9th alone, I got nearly 50 text messages on my cell phone! I'm glad my humans signed me up for the special Sprint "Text & Bark!" Package (very limited availability!)
On the Fourth of July, as Dean and the human part of Dean's Team have for the last 14 years, we distributed over 800 U.S. Flags around our neighborhood on the North Side of Chicago. It was exhausting, mind you, as sometime the ground around where we stuck the flags was a little dry. My job was to help moisten the ground, if you know what I mean. I'm pictured here with Dean's Mom, "Grandma Felice," relaxing after we did our flag distribution run. A lot of fun - and you wouldn't believe the hot female Wee Westie that lives on Marmora, the next block over! Be still my beating lil' heart!
While surfing the web today (from my basement office on Western Avenue), I read a very compelling article on DogFriendly.com. Recently, Chicago was named the most Dog Friendly Big City in North America! (I knew there was a good reason I moved here from Suburban Joliet, IL a couple of years ago, when I was still a pup!)
The DogFriendly.com people were looking for the best cities to find dog-related activities, lodging friendly to dogs, dog-accessible outdoor cafes (especially in the very short, but very hot and humid Chicago summers!), and dog-friendly parks, beaches, and stores. And Chicago came out on top.
Other cities in the Top 5 - Vancouver, British Columbia, Boston, Massachusetts, San Francisco, California, and Seattle, Washington. But we're number one - just like we are in BASEBALL (we'll, maybe not baseball).
Check the article for a guide to All Things Dog Friendly in Chicago.
And, remember, when you come to visit the Northwest Side, and the South Edgebrook Neighborhood, just look for me and say hello. (Dogs, you'll know my Maple tree - right in front of the house. Humans, follow your dogs!)
Call, growl, or write soon!
