TIPS AND HELPFUL HINTS FOR AROUND YOUR HOME AND IN YOUR GARDEN!
These two natural products are safe and effective for cleaning and deodorizing -
Vinegar
1 part vinegar and 4 parts water will take care of soapy residue on ceramic tile.
2 or 3 tablespoons in gallon of cool, clear water is the solution of choice for professional window washers.
- Run a solution of equal parts vinegar and water through your coffee maker monthly. Follow up with a clean pot of water to rinse.
- ½ a cup of vinegar and a gallon of water is an excellent cleaner for vinyl floors.
- Toss a cupful down the drain, let sit one hour, then run hot water. This is a great deodorizer.
Baking Soda
Another great drain deodorizer! Pour ½ cup in the drain followed by hot water.
- Baking Soda is a gentle scouring powder. Use on your kitchen and bathroom fixtures.
- Removes odors and stains from the interior of your refrigerator.
- Deodorize kitty litter pans.
- It works well as carpet deodorizer. Sprinkle on and vacuum.
- And of course the old standby, an open box in the fridge and freezer neutralizes odors.
